Spring

Spring was an area of agriculture and farming until it expanded thanks to the construction of the International and Great Northern Railroad in 1871.

Welcome to Spring

A Texas suburb full of historic architecture and recreational activities

Located in Harris County, Texas, Spring is part of the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land metropolitan area. Following settlement in the 19th century, the town began growing and even welcomed an influx of German immigrants in the mid-1840s. Spring was an area of agriculture and farming until it expanded thanks to the construction of the International and Great Northern Railroad in 1871.

The population slowly increased throughout the years, and 100 years later, in the 1970s, construction and renovation transformed Spring into a suburban area. Today, Spring has a variety of neighborhoods and master-planned communities and areas, many with great amenities.
